Many tax-payers do not have the knowledge, time or information sources to calculate or check their tax bill, produce their annual accounts, or complete their tax returns.  Accountants are often essential in making sure that the correct tax is paid.

Chartered Accountants are required to keep up-to-date, just they are trained, developed and supported, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

HMRC does not consider inexperience, or a lack of knowledge on the part of the tax-payer, as an excuse for paying too little tax, nor for failing to claim tax relief where it is avaiable.  It is up to the tax-payer to get it right, with or without help from an accountant.

When we save you tax, all the savings go to you.  We do not base our charges on tax savings achieved, nor on your income or profits.

We are happy to estimate our fees as soon as we know what help you need.

Our fees are directly related to the time it takes to do the work for you.

The only extras we charge are for payments we make on your behalf, such as company formation fees, fees to Companies House for  Annual Return submissions, etc.

We are not VAT registered, so you pay no VAT on our fees.
